Tsuki no Kakera Violin Score



(For those who came here just for the score, scroll down. But if you are a string player who is dying to play a song and can not find the score anywhere on the vast internet, it is worth reading through what I have to say below)

Hello world,

I am Z, formerly known as Zhyhm. I used to be a transcriber at Anime On Strings, a website that provides free scores for songs from your favorite animes. The site went down some time 4 or 5 years ago (wow, time flies) and after that I continued transcribing and uploading scores onto a Facebook page, which unfortunately got deleted for I-don't-know-why.

After that, I stopped transcribing for a while (and went to find other hobbies). But here I am again, trying to resurrect the Animeonstring trademark. I have asked the original owner for permission to continuing using this name, but only because it has been part of my early days when I started transcribing (and later, composing) music. I also stick with Animeonstrings because I hope to reach out to some old people, both from the crashed forum and from the deleted Facebook page. I use a different name for blog title, because this is a solely personal project. (Although, you are more than welcome to be part of the transcribing team. To quote from the original site: "Your starting salary will be 0, and will be doubled in subsequent months.")

Obligatory statement from the original owner, InfinityEX, because I respect the copyright law.

For the first score, I will post the much-wanted classic "Tsuki no Kakera" (violin version), from the anime La Corda d'Oro. On subsequent post I will post some old score I already transcribed from some popular song. FEEL FREE TO DROP ME A REQUEST FOR SCORE. Any songs (not just from Anime) and any instrument (preferably strings - it's in the name, but not necessarily violin). If you have any requests in mind, leave them in the comment.

    Yes, I do remember being in infinityEx website, and loving seeing the sheets, even if i still suck at violin.
    I was kinda sad when i closed, and it was trying to find it again I found these new site.
    BTW: i think the last site closed because infinityEX got bored for the seemingly lack of activity, even though im sure a lot of people actually used the used. You might wanna add some miscellanous post and some discussions thread to keep the site going. I would love to help too if that makes the site grow.

    Hey there! Thank you so much for transcribing this - I LOVE IT SO MUCHHH I even want to play it for an upcoming concert I'm participating in! Are you by chance done with the piano accompaniment for this yet? Thanks so much again!!! <3

      Hi! I started working on the piano accompaniment a while ago. I also planned to play it for my own recital as well, but in the end I couldn't make it in time; so at the moment it's still only half-way done.

      Just tell me when is your concert? (and where, in case I can attend? :P) I may be able to finish the part in time.

    On the beach from queen of the damned a gypsies journey across England from the red violin and this Patsheeva from the hot violinist if at all possible would be awesome if you could make those sheet music :D

    I just want to say, you're an amazing person. I'm like, in tears right now. I've been wanting to play this piece ever since I first heard it but due to being pretty poor and having a terrible ear I couldn't ;=; You're a life saver! I can't say thank you enough for this!
